Greg and Lynn McDonald run a pro-LGBTQ organization called Embracing the Journey. Greg and Lynn McDonald have an openly gay, married son and they fully endorse his homosexual lifestyle.

You may remember that when Ed Litton was elected to the presidency of the Southern Baptist Convention, we began discovering and uncovering rampant serial plagiarism where Litton was repeating the former president, JD Greear’s sermons nearly word for word. One of those plagiaristic moments was a line shared between Greear and Litton—that they actually both lifted from Tim Keller—stating that “homosexuality doesn’t send you to hell, how do I know that, because heterosexuality doesn’t send you to heaven.”

A completely asinine and ludicrous thing to say, but nonetheless, they both said it.

In the video below, you can hear a couple who run the ministry, Embracing the Journey, at Andy Stanley’s North Point discussing with an ordained “pastor” and licensed counselor at North Point, Debbie Causey, express that JD Greear’s asinine comment was actually the inspiration for his pro-homosexual ministry and the catalyst that caused him to endorse his own queer son’s lifestyle.
