This weekend, prominent Evangelical author, Dr. Everett Piper, published a column in the Washington Times, a right-leaning secular publication not to be confused with the far-left Washington Post, explaining how Critical Race Theory is incompatible with Christianity. Despite the factual evidence laid out, and the religious opinion, which is protected speech under the Constitution, Facebook “fact-checked” his post, marking it as “false information.”

The paragraph that Dr. Piper posted along with the link to his article is as follows:

Forgiveness is what sets Christianity apart from other religions. The Gospel of God’s unmerited grace is the antithesis of all opposing world views. It is the direct opposite of the relentless “karma” of Buddhism, for example, or the vengeful retribution of Islam. The message of Christ and his Church stands in juxtaposition to the spite, resentment and demands for “social justice” fomented by CRT.

As you can see, this is basic biblical Christian theology. What does Facebook know about Christian theology and what right do they have to mark Christian theology as “false information.”

When clicking the “see why” link, Facebook just cites some obscure information about a facial recognition software company identifying an ANTIFA member in a protest–something that Piper’s article doesn’t even mention.
