Jory Micah, one of the foremost professional idiots in all of professing Christendom, says that in order to “love” LGBTQ people, you have to “affirm” them. In other words, calling them to repent of their sin and trust in Christ for salvation is off the table.

Now, apparently she believes that Jesus is okay with women exchanging natural relations for those that are contrary to nature (Romans 1:26) and men committing shameless acts with men (Romans 1:27). Apparently, she also thinks that Jesus is cool with hands that shed innocent blood (Proverbs 6:17). The following was posted on her Facebook page.

The saddest part about her assertion isn’t that she’s lost — we already know that she’s lost and that judgment awaits her, and that’s sad too. But worse is that this post had so many likes, shares, and positive comments. It’s sad that so many people in this world are so deceived and blinded that they are willing to exchange the truth about God for a lie and worship and serve the creature rather than the creator (Romans 1:25).

It goes without saying — for anyone who actually understands the Scriptures and knows who Jesus is — that Jesus hates all these things. Jesus was clear in Matthew 5:17, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” Jesus affirmed the law — every bit of it. And Jesus called those who broke the law to repent of their sin and come to Him for salvation.

Secondly, for Christians, we understand Jesus as part of the Trinity, that is, one God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus is fully God and fully man. Jesus’ will never contradicts the Father’s will and God’s will never changes (Malachi 3:6).

Jory Micah’s inability to grasp this is telling of her low intellectual capacities — it is a form of judgment, for sure. And while we believe the Holy Spirit can convict anyone and bring anyone to salvation in Christ, it’s best at this point to simply mark and avoid Jory Micah.

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” — Romans 16:17-18
