Clearly, Beth Moore has lost her mind. For a woman who started out as a small group women’s Bible study teacher, she sure has been given a large platform to emasculate men and bring broad change into the Evangelical Church. Moore is now one of the country’s leading feminist social justice warriors — and she’s doing it from the platform of one of the most historically conservative denominations, the Southern Baptist Convention. It’s amazing how Satan can prop somebody up and so easily deceive so many people for so long.

But the tides have been turning on Moore in recent months and her shenanigans are being clearly exposed for all to see. It is becoming more and more clear what her motive is and the direction she is taking her followers — and it isn’t closer to biblical fidelity by any means. Just in the last few months, Moore has been accused of embracing homosexuality as she states that calling homosexuality a sin is “exceeding Scripture.” She promotes other gay activists such as Jonathan Merritt and Wesley Hill. And she has insisted that despite what Scripture says, she will continue to usurp the role of men as a preacher. And because many leaders in the church are beginning to speak out against her, she has resorted to mockery.

Such leaders as Tom Ascol of Founders and Owen Strachan are notable for their recent comments on Moore’s willful disobedience to Scripture, yet, despite their exhortation to repent, she continues to rebel. And as opposition to Beth Moore continues to grow, she continues to respond with spite — now calling discerning Christians who are opposed to her “trolls.”

This is par for the course for people like Beth Moore who have no interest in following Christ and obeying the commands of Scripture. Moore only seeks self-interest and she has too much to lose at this point. Yet, the Bible does speak specifically to this mindset.
