Every new year, the charismatic quacks who call themselves “prophets” and “apostles” wrench up their “prophetic” rhetoric to make predictions about the upcoming year. And each year, it gets crazier and crazier.

Usually, their predictions are about “reaping” something you’ve “sown” in the past year or some kind of “revival.” But this year, the New Apostolic Reformation “Apostles” have some ideas that seem more outlandish than usual.

This past year, a common theme between the charismatics crazies and the social justice warriors of your typical Baptist denomination is the “rise of women” in ministry, and it is being prophesied this year that it will happen. Generals, a charismatic organization consisting of false prophets and apostles, predicts “that God is going to use women in a greater way. They are going to take their place, embrace their right to preach and be in ministry. Men and women should work side by side.”

We know that this is false, however, because women don’t have a “right to preach.” In fact, women who preach are in stark opposition to God’s will for them.

Like, seriously, what is so difficult about 1 Timothy 2:12, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet”?

But it doesn’t end there. Among other “prophetic” predictions are “supernatural accelarations” (whatever that is), rising tensions in North Korea (well duh), and that 2019 will be a “year of transitions into the blessings…” What kind of blessings? Glad you asked… well, “the birthing of new things and transitions,” of course.

Every time you think it can’t get any more stupid, another new year comes around and proves you wrong. See the video here.

If there has been a more blatant example of Matthew 19:24 being played out in modern times than the Furtick family, I’ve not seen it. Jesus’s words were clear, “it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of...
