Russell Moore has been a staunch advocate of former National Institutes of Health (NIH) director, Francis Collins. Moore and other Evangelical leaders have touted Collins as a strong Christian advocate in public healthcare despite the fact that he’s pro-abortion and pro-LGBTQ. Moore repeatedly platformed Collins during his tenure at the ERLC to adjure Christians to heed his advice on vaccines and other COVID-related issues.

Reformation Charlotte has covered Moore’s toxic relationship with Collins as well as his other spiritually poisonous ideologies he continued to advance during his time as a Southern Baptist leader.

But one intrepid journalist from mainstream media has now joined the fray in covering the Evangelical infatuation with Collins that has had a hard-hitting impact on these people who tout themselves as the voice of the Church. Meg Basham, from Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire, published a piece covering this topic last month that drew a firestorm from the Evangelical Intelligentsia that we’ve been covering for a number of years.

In her piece, Basham explains how the federal government co-opted Evangelical leaders like Russell Moore and Ed Stetzer to spread leftist COVID-19 propaganda to Christians through people like Francis Collins. Now that Collins has been fully exposed as one who has purposefully and willfully participated in the spreading of false information about COVID-19—including covering up the notion that the virus originated and leaked from a lab in Wuhan—Moore and his ilk have been silent and refused to respond.

Interestingly, Basham, who wrote the piece on Moore and Collins, just so happened to run into Russell Moore in the airport yesterday. Basham states that she confronted Moore and that Moore refused to answer any of her questions about Collins.

Basham describes the interaction as “providential” as she had the opportunity to confront Russell Moore face to face and expose exactly who he is. Let’s just be clear, Moore is a fraud, a leftist propagandist who was inserted into the Southern Baptist Convention as a political change agent, and whose organizations he represents and has led over the years have taken much money from the likes of George Soros and Co.

Basham goes on to state that not only would Moore not answer her questions but that she has reached out to him previously when writing the story, but he then, too, would not speak to her.

We are glad that it is now becoming abundantly clear to those who are awake that Russell Moore and those like him are frauds and that the fruits of our labor of exposing him over the years are finally becoming clear.

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. —Jude 4
